(October 28, 2023) Over two dozen residents of BallenIsles Country Club participated in the Special Olympics Pitch Shot Golf Tournament at Okeeheelee Golf Course as Ambassadors and Guides. At least another dozen members volunteered when the Ballenisles Charities Foundation put out a call for volunteers, but space was limited. This is the second year that BallenIsles has participated, helping to make this incredible event run smoothly. Volunteers made special bonds with the players and their families on this special morning.
