Where Does Your Money Go? – Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center
Kids don’t succeed all on their own. It take a community, like the West Jupiter Community Group. Many BallenIsles residents have volunteered here, demonstrating the high regard in which we all hold Edna Runner and her extraordinary programs.
Some statistics from the Tutorial Center:
- Youth Served: 3,000 since its founding in 1986\
- 78% of elementary students improved their reading test scores
- 2,000 meals served
- 90% of students who attended graduated from high school on time
- 172 virtual projects and lessons created for the summer program
- 91 cents of every dollar goes direct to programs
- 500+ music lessons given
- 12 new garden beds built in Simon’s Giving Garden
- Area schools reported better preparedness and improved behavior in attending students
