Where Does Your Money Go?: Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue

It is sometimes hard to see just how well the grants awarded by your Foundation are used, and how appreciated they are. View the video to hear Chief Keith Bryar of the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue. These are the people who risk their lives to help us be safe in our homes and on the streets. Our recent grant to the Fire Rescue Department, along with a similar grant from the Palm Beach Gardens Police, Fire and Rescue Foundation, funded the purchase of a new rescue boat. That boat can and will save lives at risk in the water, on waterfronts and during floods.
The boat has not yet been delivered, but the shallow draft and light frame make it perfect for the rescue missions that our Fire Rescue teams might encounter here in Florida. The R ONE Series aluminum rescue boat is the industry-leading rescue and recovery boat used for water rescue, dives, special operations, and firefighting. Rapid deployment of rescue operations during flooding is crucial. An aluminum rescue boat allows fire rescue teams to reach stranded individuals and provide timely assistance quickly. Floodwater can create obstacles that are difficult to navigate. An aluminum boat can maneuver through debris and shallow areas, ensuring access to affected regions.
The BallenIsles Charities Foundation grants funds to non-profit and civic organizations in the areas of Civics, Health & Human Services, Environment, and Education. By championing the PBG Fire Rescue Department, the PBG Police Department, and the vibrant City of Palm Beach Gardens, we proudly contribute to the remarkable civic services that enrich our beloved community, making it a cherished place we proudly call home.
